Formerly, Arnaut [de Durfort], son of Arnaut de Durfort requested the king that the king will wish to account with him of his wages from the time he stood in the king's service and make swift payment to him and his men of what is found, as after the banishment of his father Arnaut Durfort from the duchy, he was nominated by William [Ayermine], bishop of Norwichw Norwicensis, then being in the parts [of the duchy] for the king's business and Oliver de Ingham, then seneschal of the duchy, at the keepership of the Penne-d'Agenais Penna Villeneuve-sur-Lot and other castles and places in the duchy that his father previously hold; and it has been allocated some wages for him and some men-at-arms being in his retinue on which a great part remains to be paid. The king ordered to the constable of Bordeaux, because of the good service of Arnaut de Durfort and his father to the king and [Edward II] and the damages they suffered in the service of this latter, that having accounted with Arnaut de Durfort, son of Arnaut de Durfort, of the said wages from the said time, he should make payment to him of what he found at the rate of one sterling for 5d.st.. And thereafter, because the then constable of Bordeaux was removed before the order was accomplished, the king ordered on 15 October 1329 to the then constable of Bordeaux that having accounted with Arnaut de Durfort, son of Arnaut de Durfort, of his wages, fees, expenses and costs of the said time, if it has not already been done, he should make payment without delay to Durfort from the issues of the duchy at a rate of one sterling for 5d.t., but Arnaut de Durfort, son of Arnaut de Durfort, informed the king that this payment was not been done until now to his great damage, so this latter requested the king to bring remedy to it.

Lately, Lalande requested that the king will wish, as Jaufré-Rudel [IV], former lord of Blaye Blavie , her former husband allocated to her at the time he married her a dowry of 3,000l.t.parv. to receive from the land of Blaye , and Lalande granted after the death of Jaufré-Rudel the right she had on the land of Blaye because of this dowry to E[dward II] and quietly claimed the 3,000l.t.parv. that [Edward II ] had to pay to her under certain terms, and Lalande was not then satisfied of this sum of money. The king ordered the then constable of Bordeaux that having viewed the said letters and having on them full information, if it appeared it was true, he should have made payment from the issues of the duchy or make satisfaction elsewhere of what is owed to Lalande without delay. And John Travers, then constable of Bordeaux had with those of the king's council of these parts full information and found that 1,200l.parv.t. of these 3,000l. were due to her at the feast of All Saints 1 1333. And the constable allocated to Lalande, with the advice of the said king's councillors and, it is claimed, by virtue of [Edward II]'s order, all the issues, emoluments and other profits of money, issues, rents, services of the free tenants and other parts of the prévôté of Blaye Blavie , excepting the castle of Blaye Blavie and the wastelands pertaining to it, as well as the bladagio and furmentagio that Johan Colom Columb held in the honor of Blaye Blavie by grant of [Edward II], to have and receive at the feast of All Saints for a three years period in full satisfaction of these 1,200l., as more fully appear by letters under the seal of the Court of Gascony and the letters of [Edward II], letters that Lalande claims to have in her possession. Lalande requested that the king , because of her grant [of her right on the land of Blaye] and the delay in paying her this sum, she suffered various damages and grievances, and Antonio di Pessagnow, former seneschal of the duchy Pessaigne was bound to her for her security in a sum of 4,800l., in addition of the said sum of 3,000l., has a favourable view on her case.

As on 15 August 1330, Bouglon requested that the king will wish to grant him in recompensation of the damages suffered by him in the service of the king and E[dward II], as the king granted by his letters patent to Bouglon to receive for life 120l.parv.t. per annum from the issues of the baylie of Castel-Amouroux in the said duchy, but Bouglon received nothing of this sum or a part of it because of the opposition of the French, provide this sum to him elsewhere; the king granted to him these 120l.parv.t. to be perceived each year from the issues of the baylies of Salles, Juliac and . The king granted at will to Bouglon to have and hold these baylies of Salles, Juliac and with their parts and govern them himself or by a suitable substitute or substitutes, rendering to the king a suitable rent. So that he will render annually to the king by the hands of the constable of Bordeaux this rent above the 120l.parv.t. allocated to him, any grant of these baylies previously done notwithstanding, as more fully appear in the king's letters patent. The king had ordered them to deliver these baylies to Bouglon, permitting him or a suitable subsitute or substitutes to answer in the said form, and make payment to Bouglon of what is due of these annual 120l.parv.t. from the issues of the duchy or make satisfaction to him elsewhere in another place of the duchy, and this has still not been done, as the king is given to understand by Bouglon, whereof he is much amazed. 2
