Notes

First viscount Lisle, and knight. He was the son of John Talbot, earl of Shrewsbury, by his second wife Margaret Beauchamp. He was initially created baron Lisle, but in 1451 was created the first viscount Lisle. He joined his father in Aquitaine in 1453, being one of the captains appointed to lead fresh troops there, and died there with his father at the battle of Castillon on 17 July 1453.
