Notes

Collecting debts owed to the king in Aquitaine in 1364, from the time before the creation of the principality. Apparently give a supervisory role as early as 1362, in conjunction with Bernat Brocas, clerk, following the death of William de Farley, the constable of Bordeaux, in office, apparently in that year. A prominent Rochelais who later became president of the Parlement of Paris for Charles V. A councillor of the king, being sent on an embassy to Paris in 1361. Knight and councillor in 1362 when he was noted as one of those receiving the property and land handed over by the king of France. Described as a knight and official of Bordeaux in 1370.
