Notes

Lieutenant of Amaury de Craon, lord of Craon, seneschal of Gascony (fl. c. 1317). It is possible that Campanis was a kinsman of Guilhem de Campagne who held offices in Saintonge at this period. It is equally possible that he was a a follower of Amaury III de Craon originating from Anjou and the neighbouring regions (possibly from the family of Champagné).
