Notes

Kt. He was appointed one of the captains to lead fresh troops to the duchy of Aquitaine in 1453 to reinforce John Talbot, earl of Shrewsbury, the lieutenant there, and seems to have had his own ship there at his own cost. The ship was badly damaged by enemy cannon and he sought the king's help in his expenses. Granted a licence to take goods to Bayonne in 1457, and another to go to Aquitaine, Brittany and Normandy in 1458. (fl. 1453-1458).
