Notes

King's serjeant-at-arms, pardoned the death of Pey de Ferradre in 1340. Still active in 1341 when he was placed in the king's protection. Granted the office of executor of Condom and Condomois when it comes into the king's hands in 1340. He had been in Edward II and III's service and describes himself as old and unable to serve the king any longer. He was apparently serving in the Jedburgh garrison in 1335 when William de Pressen, warden of the castle and forest of Jedburgh, captured the earl of Moray.
